Starbucks’ Latest Initiative Is Perfect For Those Of Us Who Hate Human Interaction

If you're constantly annoyed with the massive lines at your local Starbucks, or don't like human interaction, you'll be excited about the company's latest initiative. They'll be opening a pick-up only store in the U.S. sometime in the future, appropriately called "Starbucks Pick-up."

The store does not have an opening date yet and will be the first of its kind in the U.S. In China, the company already has these types of locations, called "Starbucks Now". They've started construction on the first U.S. store, which will be located near New York's Penn Station.

Starbucks has said it wants to give customers more "convenience" and "comfort". The store would work hand-in-hand with the company's app-based rewards program. According to CNN Business, 17 million people currently use the app.

The stores would also allow Starbucks to integrate into more dense and larger cities due to the pick-up stores being smaller than normal Starbucks cafes. So now, instead of a Starbucks on every other corner, we might see them on every corner in big cities!
