From the mountains of Alaska to the beaches of Hawaii, a group of researchers at CenturyLinkQuote compiled the different, most popular relationship questions that were searched up online by state. Turns out, lots of people want to know how to kiss.

To find each state’s burning love question, the research team at CenturyLinkQuote used Google search volume to determine which question was asked the most.

What Are The Best Dating Apps?

The MOST popular question for 20 states was the best dating apps, leading us to believe that many people are eager to meet someone special.

And while it may seem like an intimidating way to get to know someone, it seems like more and more people are opening up to the idea of finding a with a simple swipe or tap of a screen.

The following states were the ones who were just dying to know about the hottest dating apps: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas Massachusetts, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, and last but not least, Washington.

The second most popular question was “How to kiss,” in seven states including Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, and Wyoming.

I’m definitely guilty of searching this one up online back in the day. Pucker up ladies and gents, because these states have kissing on the mind.

Am I In Love?

Now, the third most popular question. Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Maine, Montana, and New Hampshire’s most popular question was the classic “am I in love.”

I feel like when you’re in love, you just know it, ya know? You shouldn’t have to take a quiz or anything, but that’s just my humble opinion.

Okay, So People Are Super Indecisive

Now that we’ve gone through the top three, let’s move on to the bottom half.

The next two questions – “when to text back,” and “does he like me?” are tied for the fourth most popular. Both were the most popular questions for six different states.

Okay, so I don’t know about you guys, but I have fallen victim to this one time after time, and it’s honestly embarrassing.

“Does he like me?” was the top question in six different states – North Dakota, Minnesota, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, and Arkansas.

When To Text Back

The most popular question for Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas was “when to text back.”

It’s always best not to seem too eager or clingy when you’re texting a new boo, but when you’re in a relationship, it’s a whole other story.

Does She Like Me?

“Does she like me” was the most fifth popular question. The lady lovers of New Mexico, North Dakota, and West Virginia are all dying to know the truth.

It looks like women are far more concerned and confused about who is crushing on them, because “does he like me” is far more common, as it was the top question in 6 states as opposed to 3.

How Can I Get Over A Breakup?

Missourians and Wisconsinites just can’t seem to get over their ex.

Turns out, the number one question in these two states was “how to get over a breakup.” I’d say that in most breakup cases, time is the solution here (and maybe a rebound or two).

When To Say “I Love You”

Aww, the top question in Iowa and Oaklahoma was ‘when to say I love you.’

You should just say I love you when it feels right, not because you feel pressured to. Because honestly, saying “I love you” too fast to someone and them just saying “cool” or “thanks” back is something that we ALL want to avoid.

No Seriously, How Do I Kiss Someone

According to the study findings, for three years in a row, three states—Idaho, Utah, and Wyoming—have asked “How to kiss” as their state’s most-googled relationship question.

By now, everyone who lives in these three states should be grade A kissers.

Another study done by Civilised Health analyzed Google trend data to find out exactly what people were asking last year when it came to relationship terminology and sex.

This question has received a 421% rise in Google searches in the last year alone, which means that more and more people are trying to figure out if they’re been ghosted.

Ghosting happens when someone unexpectedly withdraws from all methods of communication. So basically, they just delete you from their life. Yikes.

Question 2: Sex On A First date?

Sooo, lots of people were asking if it’s appropriate to have sex on the first date.

Honestly, I think that if you both want to have sex after your very first date, you should do it! But there’s also no harm in waiting. Just do what you’re both comfortable with.

Question 3: Is It Okay To Date A Colleague?

Damn, it looks like a lot of working bees out there might have a thing for one of their coworkers.

Even though some colleague relationships could end up like Jim and Pam’s from The Office, it’s important to always take feelings into account and decide whether the relationship is worth risking your role within the workplace.
