Woman Sparks Debate When Her Date Drives Away Before She Gets Into Her Home Safely

Most people have their own personal standards or expectations when it comes to the people they date, some may be higher than others but it really depends on the person.

The same thing goes for red flags; something that may be a dealbreaker for one woman may not be an issue for someone else.

A woman named Jade shared a video captured by her front door camera to her TikTok account where it has now been viewed more than 11 million times.

The video shows the final moments of a first date and it’s clear that it did not go as smoothly as she hoped.

The text at the beginning of the clip reads: “When your date doesn’t wait for you to get in your house before driving away.”

A young woman can be seen walking up toward the house and glancing back over her shoulder as a car pulls away in the dark.

Jade then can be heard saying, “And he didn’t wait until I got in the house,” as she unlocks her front door.

She adds that his failure to stick around is “red flag #2.”

She Decided It Was Best To Ghost Him

It seems like red flag #2 was two flags too many because Jade entered the house and stated matter-of-factly, “I am ghosting.”

While over 2 million people smashed the “Like” button on her video, 20k comments revealed that some people had divided opinions on her choice to cut the guy off.

Most people were quick to offer their support to Jade, agreeing that it’s proper etiquette to make sure that someone gets inside their home, regardless of who they are or what the situation is.

But of course, not everyone agreed. A lot of disgruntled men (or teen boys) took to the comments section to shame the woman for her “red flags.”

Jade had admitted in a comment that the first red flag was when he didn’t open any doors for her. But she did give him credit for paying for the date.

Are Jade’s red flags offside or do you agree with her? Where do you draw your standards line when it comes to dating?
