Signs He Cares About You More Than You Think
Trying to figure out whether or not someone is interested in you can be one of the great tortures of our lives. You could spend hours picking petals off a flower determining if he loves you or not, but there are easier ways to figure it out.
Even if he hasn’t outright said it yet, or he has but you’re still not sure, there are smaller ways that you can tell that he’s interested in you and cares about you.
He Talks About The Future
Even in a casual tone, talking about future vacation plans you could make together or things that he wants to do with you a few months from now is always a good sign. He’s interested in you not just for right now, but for the long run too.
He Pays Attention To The Little Details
He notices little things like when you get a haircut or buy yourself a new pair of shoes, and he usually compliments you once he notices those things. He pays attention to the details that you wouldn’t expect him to notice.
You’ve Met His Friends Or Family
A great sign that someone is interested in you is if you’ve met their friends or family. He’s introduced you to his closest friends or maybe you met his sister one day when they were hanging out. He’s not trying to hide you from the rest of his life; he wants you to be a part of it.
He Always Looks Good
If you know that you’re going to spend time with someone that you’re interested in, you’re going to put extra effort into your appearance, right? He always seems to be nicely dressed and well put together whenever you’re together, even if it’s a casual hangout.
He Always Invites You Along
Even if he’s going to hang out with a group of people that you don’t know that well, he always extends the invitation—and he genuinely wants you to come. He includes you in his plans because he wants to spend as much time with you as possible.
He Asks You Personal Questions
Rather than dominating every conversation with information about himself or not even bothering to hold a conversation, he asks you questions about yourself so that he can get to know you.
And Actually Remembers What You Tell Him
Not only does he ask you questions about yourself and your life, but he also remembers the things that you tell him. He makes an effort to remember the stories or facts that you tell him.
Pay Attention To His Body Language
Is he doing things like leaning in when you speak, making a lot of direct eye contact, or just generally always being close to you? If someone isn’t interested in you, they won’t want to spend time physically near you or have a need to be close to you.
He Asks About Your Relationship Status
He always wants to know if you’re seeing anybody, if you’re talking to someone new, or if you’re single, probably because he wants to know if he has a shot with you or if you’re already taken.
He Jokes About You Being Together
If you find that he’s often making comments about what would happen if you ever got together or joking about what a good couple you would make, chances are he’s not joking. He could be trying to test the waters and gauge your reaction to see if you feel the same way.
You Never Catch Him In A Lie
It’s not just that you’re not catching him in a lie, the point is that he’s not lying at all. He’s honest with you about whatever he’s thinking or feeling, even if it’s not something you’re willing to hear.
He Texts You Randomly
If he’s thinking about you or sees something funny that he thinks you’ll like, he doesn’t hesitate to send it to you without worrying about who texted who last or playing some sort of game with you.
He’s Jealous Or Protective Of You
Even though you’re just friends (at least, you think you are), whenever another guy is around or you even mention another male friend or guy you’re talking to, he starts asking questions or making comments about the other guy, how he’s not good enough for you, etc.
He Wants To Work Through Your Issues
If you get into an argument or disagreement, he doesn’t throw in the towel and storm off. He wants to work through your problems together and find a solution that is best for both of you.

He might be on his phone if he needs to answer a phone call or send a quick text, but when you’re together, his focus is clearly on you. He’s not distracted by every notification he gets or killing time scrolling through social media.

He makes an effort to include you or encourages you to participate in hobbies that he loves, and he’s always enthusiastic about doing something with you that you’re interested in.

A real test of someone’s interest in you is whether or not they’re there to support you when you need it. He’s there by your side whenever you need him—he’s not just interested in being around for the happy, fun times.

He asks you for your opinion or asks you for help when looking to solve a problem, and then he actually listens to you. He’s asking because your opinion matters to him.

He asks you if you’re single or taken, and he also makes the fact that he is single very clear. He brings it up in conversation frequently and makes sure that you know he is on the market.
He’s Always There To Celebrate With You
Rather than being the person who tries to outdo your successes with their own, he is happy that you’re happy and wants to celebrate your accomplishments, without making the focus about him.
