Times Men Were Actually V Good And Wholesome

Most of the things I write about men involve complaining about their lack of basic hygiene/empathy/understanding how you're supposed to text a woman, but today I decided to switch it up a little. As much as I, like, hate men, I must admit that some of them can do really cute, pure, wholesome things.

Here are some explains of men being v good (and if any of you know these men—and they're single—please slide me the digits).

We Love A Guy Who Confronts His Friends' Negative Behaviors

One of the most irritating things I've found through my dating experiences are men who will recognize that their friends are saying inappropriate things, but say nothing about it.

We stan this confrontational king!

This is lowkey the cutest thing a man has ever written! Shakespeare can get in line. Tennyson can take some notes from him.

Respectfully Accepting Rejection Isn't Hard

a guy asked me for my number today and when I told him I was in a relationship he told me to tell my boyfriend that he's very lucky to be with me and then he paid for my coffee and left??? I'm shook by the respect

Look at this prime behavior by a man who: respectfully showed interest in a woman, listened to her and accepted that she wasn't interested, and kindly delivered a compliment and bought her a drink without expecting anything in return.

Take notes, boys.

Men Caring About Their Environmental Impact Is Hot

I'm in line at Chipotle behind like six frat boys and they're very earnestly discussing what meat to get on their burritos based on what livestock ranching does the least environmental harm so while everything smells like Old Spice, my faith in men is a little restored

I know that it's wrong to expect a boyfriend to pay for things for you.

But the fact that he's trying to just help her out and make her not worry about paying him back while she's struggling to pay tuition is so kind and pure.

my bf is a college athlete and doesn't even have time to breathe. He sets an alarm for 8am almost every morning to Facetime me while I get dressed for work. I've said it before and I'll say it again: if someone wants to talk to you, they'll make time

In a long-distance relationship, especially if there are time zone differences, it might be tempting, and even easy, to stop communicating with your significant other as much.
