Woman Accused Of Being A ‘Catfish’ On Tinder Destroys Her Accuser In One Fell Swoop

With the popularity of online dating, many people have found true love via dating apps. While some people do find a partner, others, unfortunately, fall victim to people who aren’t quite as they seem, also known as catfish.

One woman has gone viral for the creative way she clapped back at a Tinder match who accused her of being a catfish. Get your measuring tapes ready.

What Is A Catfish?

With the rise of online dating, you’ve probably heard the term “catfish” before. No, we’re not talking about the whiskery fellow that swims in the Mississippi River, but something quite different.

A “catfish” is someone who creates a fictional online persona in order to lure a potential victim into a relationship, either for financial gain or to compromise/upset the victim in some way.

The TikTok

Paris Campbell, also known as @stopitparis on TikTok, describes herself as a “highly opinionated & chaotic comic who talks a lot.” With 6.1 million views, one of Paris’ TikTok’s recently went viral, and it has to do with—you guessed it—catfishing.

She captioned the post with, “not the pot calling the kettle [back] (height doesn’t matter btw, but lying & being rude does).”

Super Likes And Tinder

Our story begins when Paris was on Tinder one day and received a super like and message from a 28-year-old man named Will. But instead of saying hello or breaking the ice with a cringe pickup line, he gets her attention another way.

Will accuses Paris of being a “catfish.” In particular, because of this photo on her Tinder profile.

6 Feet Tall, You Say?

Annoyed with Will making an unjustified and false comment about her, Paris decides to turn the tables around.

“Anyways, when I went to go learn more about the man of my dreams, he only wrote that he’s 6’1″,” Paris says. “6’1”, you say? Wow, so tall. Well, you see, Will, that coffee cup you’re holding seems to be a very standard size, measuring approximately 3.6 inches from rim to bottom.”

70 Inches

Paris then estimates that Will’s sunglasses are 145 millimeters in width (5.7 inches). Using the width of the coffee cup, his sunglasses, and even the inseam of his shorts, Paris then deduces that our pal Will over here is about 70 inches tall.

“So, I guess you’re 5’10”,” she says.

Fact-Checking, Tinder Style

Paris then drops a perfectly executed bombshell and reveals that she too is 5’10”, just like her super like match Will who claims on his Tinder profile that he’s actually over six feet tall. You’re a stone-cold liar, Will!

“So, who’s the catfish? Hmm?” Paris asks.

Someone Call The Homicide Unit

Paris’ TikTok went viral and has received over 1 million likes and 9,500 comments. Users loved the creative and meticulous way she destroyed a man who accused her of being a catfish, and how ultimately, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

“The FBI works hard but women on dating apps work harder,” one user commented.

A Final Update

In a final update, Paris shares some news about a day after her TikTok was posted regarding her dating situation. I think it’s fair to say that she and “the man of her dreams” Will aren’t going on a date anytime soon.
