Woman Claims You Can Tell If Your Boyfriend Is Cheating Based On His Car’s Passenger Mirror

When it comes to determining whether or not a significant other is cheating, people have their own unique methods. Whether old-school like snooping through phones or more high-tech like watching surveillance cameras, there are no limitations to how far someone will go.

One woman has gone viral on TikTok for her method which involves a car and its passenger mirror. But, not everyone is on board.

Aurie Louisse, also known as @aurielouisse on TikTok, recently went viral for sharing her hack which she claims can determine whether or not your boyfriend is cheating.

The video has been viewed over 6.6 million times, and it's sparking a debate on the video-sharing platform.

The six-second-long TikTok begins with Aurie sitting inside her boyfriend's car. She then sets a trap by opening the sun visor on the passenger side of the vehicle. Next, Aurie opens the sliding mirror only halfway before fully closing the sun visor.

"How to know if he's seeing someone lol #hack" a text overlay on the video reads.

So how is this mirror hack supposed to determine if your partner is cheating? Well, when you use the mirror, a person typically leaves the mirror either fully open or fully closed before shutting the visor.

Because Aurie left the mirror partially opened, if another woman was in the car and used the visor/mirror, she too would leave it fully open or closed—thus proving someone else used it.

Many users pointed out that other friends or family members could potentially use the passenger side mirror, while others said that bumps in the road could potentially shift the mirror out of position.

Many other people said that this video simply boils down to trust in a relationship—or in this case, a lack thereof. They said that anyone in a healthy relationship would be able to discuss their problems with their partner and not resort to childish games.
