Ladies, We’ve Been Wearing Our Bathrobes Wrong This Whole Time

With the cooler weather of autumn now upon us, we're more likely to don our fluffy bathrobes after getting out of the bath. But when it comes to actually putting it on, most of us just pull the belt from behind our back and tie it in the front.

One woman on TikTok has gone viral with the unique way she puts on her bathrobe.

It's a Friday night and you finally have a bit of "me time" all to yourself, so you draw a hot bath—time to relax.

Of course, it definitely wouldn't be a bath without your soft and fluffy bathrobe to wrap yourself up in after exiting the tub.

Megan begins the video by donning her purple bathrobe (which she calls a housecoat) and showing the way we're all probably used to wearing one. Traditionally, you take the belt and wrap it behind your back and then through the two loops on either side of your torso, pull it tight, then tie it together in a bow on your stomach. Right? Wrong!

And Here's The Right Way

Next, Megan instead takes the belt and pulls both ends through the loops on each side of the robe, as opposed to wrapping it completely around her back.

She then tucks one side of the robe underneath the other, before tightly pulling both ends of the belt together and tying it into a neat bow.

Many users said that they learned something new and are going to try it out for themselves. But, other users commented that this method looks like it'll take longer to undo the robe, so they're sticking with their old-school method.

So now that you've seen both versions of wearing a bathrobe, do you think you'll try out Megan's method or will you stick to your own way of doing things? Either way, pamper yourselves, ladies!
