I Tried The Aztec Clay Mask And It’s As Good As Everyone Says It Is

Every once in a while, you come across a beauty product that so many people claim is like the Holy Grail of skincare. I usually take this with a grain of salt because how many Holy Grail products can there really be? There was one that piqued my interest, though, because I was seeing it literally everywhere: the Aztec Healing Clay Mask.

I decided to pull the trigger and order it because it's under $20 on Amazon, which is a great price point. It was time to see if it was worth the cult type hype.

You Can Order It In Two Sizes

There is a one-pound container and a two-pound container, both of which you can order on Amazon. One of the things that appealed most to me was the fact that people were saying you got a lot of product in the container, and in some cases, the one-pound container lasted up to a year.

What I Was Most Interested In Was The "Pore Vaccum" Effect

The Aztec Healing Clay Mask has over 4,000 reviews on Amazon with 4.6 stars out of 5. It's 100% Bentonite clay, which has many health benefits, the main one being its oil-absorbing, pore vacuuming effect. When you apply the mask, you can feel it get warm and start to pulsate on your skin, which is a weird sensation at first! The clay helps absorb sebum or oil which will come out when you wash the mask off your skin.

Honestly, It Works, And I'm Not Just Saying That

I used it for about three months before I made my final decision. It does what it says it does and helps clear up existing acne, and when used regularly, it will help keep your pores tight and clean. I used to get really bad cystic acne on my chin and have noticed a huge decrease in the number of pimples I get in that area now, and the only change I've made to my skincare routine is using this mask.

I Think It Works Best With Apple Cider Vinegar

The packaging says you can use water or apple cider vinegar and I found it worked best with the ACV. It doesn't smell the greatest, but it feels great and works even better. The mask can also be used for chest and back acne, to deep-clean your hair and detoxify your scalp, and even on bug bites.

If you've been curious about this mask like I was, or if you want to add an actual Holy Grail to your skincare routine, I would recommend the Aztec Healing Clay Mask which is available on Amazon.
