‘Hero’ Bartender Used Fake Receipt To Save Two Women From Creepy Man

Unfortunately, nowadays there are few women who can say that they've never been the target of unwanted advances from a man in public, whether that be in a bar or in a grocery store.

And much of the time, women don't necessarily know how to handle the situation because they don't want to make it worse, but they just want to be left alone. There are men like this bartender coming up though, who pay attention to the signals and help women in need.

In order to check on the women, Max decided that he would pass the women a receipt—or at least what would look like a receipt—to the unsuspecting man.

The receipt had a note written on it though.

On the note, Max instructed the woman to subtly change her hairstyle if she was in need of assistance so the bartender would know to step in.

Max said that while "I honestly don't like yelling at customers or embarrassing people" that's what happened here—because the man wasn't getting the message.

"Calling them out in front of people is usually enough to get them to turn tail and walk away." Since the man didn't listen at first, he had no choice but to be a bit more aggressive.

Max successfully de-escalated the situation and made the women feel safe while setting an example for other mixologists and people in general. Just to make the story better, the patron apparently came back to the bar a few days after the incident and Max was working. He was not served.

Trinity also clarified later that she had the bartender pose for a photo with the note after the situation was resolved.
